Phone consultations are normally reserved for urgent or “emergency” situations where very timely intervention is necessary because the life of the horse is either at risk, or symptoms are so severe that preventative measures are imperative. I also provide an email “plan of action” highlighting my main points of advice given over the phone. In some instances I will conduct a phone consultation for non-emergency issues if this is a better way for you to process information, or you lack computer skills, or internet is not an option in your area.
Phone consultations are charged by the hour, and are typically completed in an hour or less.
