It is becoming increasingly difficult to relate to any of the major political parties. Obviously, both pretend to represent "we the people", both, in fact, represent only their immediate special interests. If you are not a multi-millionaire, then the odds of you being one of their special interests is remote. If you aren't, and still are holding out on them, then you are probably delusional. This website isn't for you!
Why the Progressive Party?
Because what is needed is genuine political, social, and economic progressiveness. If you are one of the above's special interests, and you are still here, then, obviously, things are looking progressive. But if you are honest about it, and recognize that an ominous cloud is even going to be hanging disruptively over your head in due time, then hang around. Back to the Progressive Party . . .
One thing is certain, I have learned to never underestimate the imaginations, insights and intelligence of my fellow human beings. The Progressive Party is thus dedicated to those among us with imagination, insights, intelligence and a desire to make truly progressive contributions, if only ideas, to the improvement of the human race, to the amelioration of suffering among the animals living among us and in the wild, and the protection of our environment and resources.
The Progressive Party is a grassroots effort. As the grass grows widely around our planet, so goes our affiliations, meaning, across international boarders. There is potential strength in such numbers, worldwide, and in such numbers so widely dispersed, will come a greater wealth of progressive contributions. How exciting! Within each of our respective countries then, are the seeds of the Progressive Party planted according to the rules of engagement by each country's government. Beyond these immediate boundaries, however, lie our international ties and greater momentum for progressive change.
Democratic ideals lie at the foundations of the Progressive Party. These, of course, contrapose the self-serving ideals of the special interests, who, whether they like it or not, are swept up in the pursuit of wealth at all costs, clearly abdicating democratic principles if need be. The latter is hard to decipher for many as government, media, and special interests skillfully and willfully cross-link and close ranks to protect themselves and the increasingly centralizing of wealth in the hands of the increasing few. Special interests need the media to "look good" and the government to regulate and control adversaries. These are not democratic agendas based on democratic ideals, these are special interests looking out for themselves. In time, this will become clearer and clearer to those on the "outside" barely making ends meet. Just read about it:

Then there are the detractors who argue that such claims that "the rich are getting richer" is nothing more than malicious, Leftist, Socialist propaganda. Read an article by one such person:

But I certainly am not a Socialist, or Marxist, or a deluded anti-Capitalist trying to run a hoax. Like many others, I understand completely what the trends are by simply observing and listening to my fellow human beings in distress. You see, the problem isn't just about wealth, or the lack of, its about what is happening to people "falling through the economic cracks" and the environment. Its about the kinds of pressures upon the human race and the environment for which Natural Selection did not select. Special interests are about exclusion, not about inclusion in the spirit of democratic principles.
